Top five swordsmen in Westroes

"A pen is mightier than sword." I bet whoever said this hasn't watched Game of thrones yet.
In the world of corruption and an unquenchable greed for power the only true friend you have is the sharp blade of steel in your fist.

Here is a list of top five greatest swordsmen to walk the land of westroes, here I'll use the TV show and books as a source and the final list will be made upon my opinion so if your favorite swordsmen didn't made to the final list do not get upset.
before we begin let me remind you this list about sword fighters from westroes alone so n matter how insanely skilled Khal Drogo or Serio Ferrell are, they will be excluded.

5- Eddard Ned Stark:

Whether it be the Books or the TV show both are stuffed with Ned Stark's more than impressible resume as a sword-fighter. Over course of the years Ned has fought along side with and against the most deadly men in all of seven kingdoms. Though he do not usually fight in the tournaments yet he is no less than an icon. In the very first season the lord of Winterfell had a combat with the king-slayer Jamie Lannister where he exhibits the skills he posses. He has  also technically defeated none other than Ser Arthur Dayne himself.

4- Sandor Clegane:

More of a brawler than a tactitian The Hound simply destroys every opponent he comes across. He doesn’t want to be a knight, and his enjoyment in the act of killing is tempered somewhat by his own odd code of ethics. He is a powerhouse in battle, but  is terrified of fire. He has defeated the swordsman Beric Dondarrion, and can plow through a squad of regular soldiers with minimal difficulty, but meets his match when bested by Brienne of Tarth

3- Ser Jamie Lannister:

Although his reputation shall always be sullied by his backstabbing of the Mad King, Aerys Targaryen, Jaime “The Kingslayer” Lannister is known as one of the most brilliant swordsmen in all the Seven Kingdoms. Jame says there are three swordsmen who might have a chance of defeating him in a fair fight, but he does not name them. Since the loss of his hand, Jaime’s rank is difficult to place. His skills and instincts remain, but we haven’t seen him tested by a highly skilled opponent while fighting with his remaining hand (no, practicing with Bronn doesn’t count.

2- Ser Barristan Selmy:

Barristan Selmy “The Bold,” is a knight who served the Kingsguard for more than forty years and many believe him to be the finest swordsman in all of the Seven Kingdoms. Even though Selmy was absolutely loyal to Rheagar Targaryen right up until the end of Robert’s Rebellion, his reputation of courage and chivalry impressed Robert so much that he both pardoned Selmy and made him Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. His death at the hands of the Sons of the Harpy in a Meereen back alley was not a worthy final act of valor for this Knight.

1- Ser Arthur Dayne:

Appearing in the 6th season Tower of Joy flashback in “Oathbreaker,” the Dornish knight Ser Arthur Dayne proved to all of us how fantastic of a fighter he was, overwhelming Eddard Stark and his bannermen before being stabbed in the back by Howland Reed. Dayne’s title was “The Sword of the Morning,” and he carried the famous ancestral House Dayne blade, Dawn. “Father said he (Arthur Dayne) was the best swordsman he ever saw,” Bran tells the Three-eyed Raven. I’m going to agree with Eddard Stark on this one.

A fall into Abyss: India's growing love affair with extremism

Sadhvi Pragya, a member of parliament from Bhopal, while ago in a media interaction said Nathuram Godse; the man who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi was a patriot. This ignited a huge nationwide controversy causing the Prime minister to say that he'll never be able to forgive Pragya. Despite this, every day we hear influential leaders from political parties having their share of ridiculous and absurd statements. Is this just the meaningless blabber of extremist leaders or is something dangerous? The new normal What if I had told you a couple of decades ago that in this very country, the killing of Mahatma Gandhi will be celebrated, or a union minister would honor the murder accused with garlands, or someone with terrorism charges will become a member of parliament? All this would have seemed a little too far-fetched but as of now all the aforementioned has already happened and most of the nation's population appears to be fine with it.  Today you hear political l...
